ADP Takes Its First Bold Step: Championing Fair Pay in Haryana

On August 19, 2025, the Association of Dietetic Professionals (ADP) entered India's healthcare landscape to address critical pay disparity and working conditions in Haryana's civil hospitals.

    Standing up for Justice

At a landmark meeting, ADP raised urgent concerns about the unjust classification of Haryana Civil Hospital dietitians. Despite advanced qualifications, these professionals remain trapped at Pay Level 6, while peers in institutions like AIIMS and PGI enjoy Pay Level 8 recognition.

    Formal Representation

ADP has submitted detailed demands to the Additional Chief Secretary Health and Health Minister to elevate dietitians to Pay Level 8 and Group B status.

    Retaining Talent

Correcting pay inequalities is essential to halt the exodus of trained dietitians to central institutions and restore stability to public nutrition services.

    Beyond Pay: Our Vision

ADP's mission extends to the structural strengthening of nutrition services across the state:

    • Increased Staffing: Creating more posts to balance overwhelming workloads and ensure quality patient care.
    • Dedicated Departments: Establishing functional units with formalized hierarchies and promotion pathways.
    • Functional Kitchens: Infrastructure for hospitals with 100+ beds to deliver essential recovery-focused meals.

    Pillars of Preventive Healthcare

Nutrition is a cornerstone of healing. Dietitians work silently to reduce complications, shorten hospital stays, and improve outcomes. Investing in these professionals is an investment in the overall health of Haryana's communities.

    Join the Movement

Our fight is collective. Join ADP to reshape the profession, amplify our voice, and build a future where dietetics truly shines.
